BRANCH:FORMER POLICE CADET WHO ARMED HIMSELF WITH FAKE GUN WALKS FREE

STREATHAM, GYPSY HILL, SOUTH LONDON. A police memorabilia collector who dressed up in uniform and armed himself with a fake pistol during an incident outside his home walked free from court today (Mon). Marc Branch, 21, donned a stab vest, complete with handcuffs, gas canister and tucked an imitation Glock inside his jacket.

ILFORD, ESSEX; BECKTON, EAST LONDON. A schoolboy who forced a girl to strip naked and dance to punish her for setting up a street fight that ended in a teenager's murder has been locked up. RINGWOOD, HANTS; A nurse who restrained an elderly and vulnerable woman with a heavy belt around her wheelchair has been allowed to stay in the profession. Saroj Devi Prabagaran, 48, trapped the elderly woman with the strap used to lift patients from their beds and baths at Bickerley Green Nursing Home in Ringwood, Hampshire.

VAJA: POLICE WORKER ACCUSED OF ACCESSING CONFIDENTIAL DATABASE INFORMATION

SOUTHALL, MIDDLESEX; A Metropolitan Police worker accused of accessing confidential information on the national database and forging prosecution documents will face trial next year. Babulal Vaja, 59, was stationed at Southall Police station Middlesex, when it is alleged he accessed the files of an unknown man to find out his ‘suspected criminal activities’.

BRENTFORD, WEST LONDON; HARLESDEN, NW LONDON; A man appeared at the Old Bailey today (Fri) accused of killing a Filipino who was found in the street with head injuries. David Van Der Riet, 33, allegedly murdered 29-year-old Jaypee Maderazo, who died in hospital on August 17 this year.

(Fri) Uninsured Nabeal Javeed, 20, was clocked at 92.4mph in his black BMW 3 Series while Zubar Dawood, also 20, raced him on the opposite side of the carriage way 30mph road in a grey Lexus IS200 Sport.

MIHAI: BENEFIT CHEAT ASYLUM SEEKER JAILED FOR 21 MONTHS

BRISTOL; STANSTED, ESSEX: A failed asylum seeker who fraudulently claimed £21,000 in benefits was today (Fri) jailed for 21 months. Romanian national Dorel Mihai, 39, failed in two bids to gain asylum after coming to the UK in 2000 – one where he used a fake name, Southwark Crown Court heard.
