MIAKIENKO: JEALOUS EASTERN EUROPEAN STABBED EX-GIRLFRIEND TO DEATH IN THE STREET

TOTTENHAM A nurse was stabbed to death by her 'obsessive' ex-boyfriend when she dumped him and began seeing another man, a court heard today (tues). Dariusz Miakienko, 47, murdered 42 year-old Naudel Turner after following her from her doctor's surgery to a bus stop in Tottenham, north London, it is claimed. In the weeks leading up to her death he send her over 1,000 texts and told her: 'You are killing me slowly.' Miakienko stabbed Ms Turner a day after arranging a meeting with her new partner at a local McDonalds, Isleworth Crown Court was told.

ELMAKHZANGY:CONWOMAN WHO FLEECED LORD AND WIFE WALKS FREE

CHELSEA, SOUTHWEST LONDON; LUTON, BEDS A conwoman who stole £80,000 in jewellery and cash from a former president of Schroders merchant bank walked free from court and was ordered to repay just £2,000. Miranda Elmakhzangy, 20, swindled Sir George Mallinckrodt, 84 and his wife Charmaine, 79, into handing over jewellery valued at £74,000, Isleworth Crown Court heard. She later stole an additional £6,700 after a sophisticated scam which involved turning up unannounced at 2am outside the elderly couple's Chelsea home posing as police officer. Warning the terrified couple their house had been targeted and their bank details compromised, Elmakhzangy and other scammers convinced them into handing over jewels and bank details.

PARKER:REPORTER WAS 'GREEDY FOR NEWS'

TWICKENHAM, WEST LONDON; SITTINGBOURNE, KENT A senior reporter at The Sun was happy to break the law to get exclusive stories because he was 'greedy for news', a court was told today (tues). Chief foreign correspondent Nick Parker, 53, paid Surrey police officer Alan Tierney, 42, for information about celebrities who had been arrested, the Old Bailey heard. The journalist also allegedly handed over cash to prison guard Lee Brockhouse, 44, for details from inside HMP Swaleside in Kent. Parker is also accused of snooping through texts and emails on MP Siobhain McDonagh's mobile after it was stolen from her car.

NATIONAL CRIME AGENCY: 'MULTIPLE AND PROFOUND FAILURES' BURNS £5M OF TAXPAYER'S CASH

CENTRAL LONDON The National Crime Agency has been slammed as 'incompetent' by an Old Bailey judge after a series of blunders led to the collapse of a trial which had cost the taxpayer £5 million. Judge Wendy Joseph, QC stopped the case after four weeks when it emerged evidence had gone missing, was misleading or had not been investigated properly. The judge refused a prosecution application for a six-week adjournment and discharged the jury from returning verdicts against all seven defendants saying the shambles was 'even beyond negligence.' The court heard how detectives did not have the software to grab pictures from CCTV - and were reduced to taking screen shots on their phones. Prosecutor Shane Collery was forced to offer no evidence against the accused men, who grinned broadly as the decision was announced.

STUDENT WANTED TO SEE BLACK FLAG OF ISLAM FLYING IN DOWNING ST

CAMDEN, NORTH LONDON A Muslim student who was arrested on his way to fight with terrorists in Syria wanted to see the black flag of Islam flying over Downing Street, a court heard today (TUES). David Souaan, 20, was stopped at Heathrow Airport on May 31 this year as he tried to board a flight with his mother. His laptop contained photographs and videos of himself carrying automatic weapons in the war-torn country and graphic footage of a man having his throat cut. Souaan, who has a Syrian father and a Serbian mother, also had film of himself at a demonstration in the UK referring to the 'flag of tawheed in London'.

SHUTER: SUPERHEAD WHO BILLED FOF HER BIRTHDAY WILL BE BACK IN A JOB IN A YEAR ARE

ST JOHN'S WOOD A former super-head who charged her school £7,000 for her birthday celebrations can apply to return to the profession in 2016. Joanna Shuter, 53, also claimed for nearly £6,000 in taxi rides and £1,500 for furniture to be delivered to her home. Once dubbed Tony Blair's favourite headteacher she also charged the Quintin Kynaston Academy in St John's Wood for an iPad and mobile phone contracts for her family. The school purse also had to foot a £8,269 bill for her senior leadership team to stay at the plush five star Grove Hotel in Chandler's Cross, Herts. Ms Shuter also got her school PA to book holiday flights for her family and organise the rental of her Turkish holiday villa. Shuter admitted unacceptable professional conduct earlier at the National College for Teaching and Leadership.

WILLIAMS:DETECTIVE DENIES VOYEURISM AT HOTELS

WANDSWORTH, SOUTHWEST LONDON; MILTON KEYNES, BUCKS; GUILDFORD, SURREY A detective constable has denied three counts of voyeurism by spying on unsuspecting hotel guests. Daniel Williams, 36, is said to have spied on victims at the Jury's Inn in Milton Keynes, Bucks and the The Mandolay Hotel, Guildford, Durrey during a ten-month spree. Williams, of Clarendon Drive, Wandsworth, was arrested on 19 November this year, Westminster Magistrates Court heard. He denied three counts of voyeurism, dating between January and October this year, and was bailed to appear at Southwark Crown Court on Monday, 15 December.

DANCI: ROMANIAN KILLER THREATENED TO SLIT GIRLFRIEND'S THROAT

WALTHAMSTOW A Romanian killer who came to the UK after serving a fraction of a 23 year sentence has been jailed for threatening to slit his ex-girlfriend's throat. Ion Danci, 40, arrived in the UK just a year after his early release from prison for torturing a man to death in Crete. The victim was beaten with a plank of wood, slashed with a knife and strangled with a rope. He was found dead in an abandoned warehouse, semi-naked and tied to a chair, with the ligature still around his neck.

BROWN: FORGING COP WALKS FREE

NEWHAM An 'overzealous' police officer who caused a trial to collapse by forging police and civilian statements narrowly escaped jail. PC Gavin Brown, 34, forged and signed two colleagues' accounts of a cannabis farm investigation by the Newham Crime Squad, east London, which he was leading. Brown falsified the accounts of two police officers and a civilian after he became 'fixated' with getting statements signed off in September 2012, Southwark Crown Court heard. The former officer's conduct meant a subsequent trial in relation to the pot farm collapsed because of 'serious irregularities' with the prosecution's case.

HAYIBOR:NURSE LEFT SCADLED PATIENT IN PAIN

OLDHAM A care home nurse spilt hot water over an elderly dementia woman and left her lying in pain for hours, a tribunal heard. Nancy Hayibor left the pensioner with a scald measuring 14 inches by 10 inches while working a night shift at Shaw Side Residential and Nursing Home in Oldham, Manchester. Hayibor failed to call an ambulance and left the injured resident untreated after the incident in the early hours of August 4 last year, the Nursing and Midwifery Council heard. The patient, who is immobile and needs 24 hour care, suffered a 14 inch by 10 inch wound in the incident and is now scared of being washed.

FAZELI: KIDNAP GANG'S BOILING WATER TORTURE THREAT

KILBURN/TOTTENHAM/SHEPHERD'S BUSH A gang kidnapped a woman and threatened to force boiling water down her throat unless she handed over cash, a court was told. Benham Fazeli, 27, Hossain Rahimi, 35, and Natassia Morgan-Kilner, 31, threatened Liezel Torno with a knife in a West London flat unless she paid her £470 debt, Southwark Crown Court heard. Ms Torno was allegedly forced down a busy Shepherd's Bush street in West London at knife point by Fazeli. She was bound with dish cloths at Morgan-Kilner's flat until Ms Torno's grandmother managed to pay the ransom the next day, it is said.
