PURCELL:LODGER DENIES MURDERING FLATMATE FOR HER SAVINGS

CRICKLEWOOD, NORTH LONDON A lodger accused of stabbing his flatmate to death in a botched attempt to steal her savings denied murder at the Old Bailey today (Weds). Michael Purcell, 53, allegedly knifed Imelda Molina repeatedly at the home they shared in (143) Ashford Court, in Ashford Road, Cricklewood, north London. He is also accused of burglary by stealing Mrs Molina's rucksack containing £1000 in cash on the day of the stabbing. Police and paramedics were called to the multi-occupancy home at 7.22pm on 28 October last year and found Mrs Molina, 49, who shared a room with her husband, with stab wounds to her torso and body.

DONNELLY:MAN DENIES MURDERING ONLINE DATE

CRICKLEWOOD, NORTHWEST LONDON A man accused of stabbing and strangling a woman he met on an online dating site denied murder at the Old Bailey today (MON). Miles Donnelly, 34, allegedly killed Usha Patel, 44, at the flat she shared with her five-year-old son in Cricklewood, north London Ms Patel was found dead after police were called to her home in Melrose Ave on the morning of 8 October last year. Donnelly, who is also known as Miles Ryan, appeared in court by video link from Wormwood Scrubs prison to plead not guilty to the murder of Ms Patel and causing actual bodily harm to Rosie Ferringo.

DONNELLY:INTERNET DATE STRANGLER REMANDED

CRICKLEWOOD, PADDINGTON, NORTHWEST LONDON A man accused of stabbing and strangling a woman he met on an online dating site appeared at the Old Bailey today (weds). Miles Donnelly, 34, is said to have murdered Usha Patel, 44, at the flat she shared with her five-year-old son in Melrose Ave, Cricklewood, north London, on October 8. Donnelly, who is also known as Miles Ryan, did mot enter pleas to a charge of murder and an allegation of causing actual bodily harm to Rosie Ferringo. He appeared at the court via a video link from Wormwood Scrubs prison and spoke only to confirm his identity.

AGEERA: RAPPER GETS LIFE FOR BLING WATCH MURDER

HENDON, BECKTON, EAST HAM, STRATFORD, CANNING TOWN A YouTube rap star who knifed a builder to death for a 'blingy' watch worth less than £100 has been jailed for 30 years today (fri). Terngu 'Mover' Agera, 23, and his pal stabbed Zydrunas Laurinavicius through the chest with a fearsome 'Rambo' knife as he enjoyed a stroll with his father. Mr Laurinavicius, 38, was enjoying a 99 cone as they went to get the bus home when the killers struck. Agera, a rising star on the Grime scene and Stephen Lansana, 22, stripped the victim's watch from his wrist and left him to die in the street.

TERNGU AGERA: MASS BRAWL IN THE DOCK AS RAPPER CONVICTED OF BLING MURDER

HENDON A YouTube rap star who knifed to death an innocent builder for his watch as he enjoyed an ice cream in the sunshine is facing life behind bars today (Thurs). Terngu 'Mover' Agera, 23, and his friend stabbed Zydrunas Laurinavicius through the chest with a fearsome hunting knife as he took a stroll with his father. Mr Laurinavicius, 38, was enjoying a 99 cornet as they went to get the bus home when the killers struck. Agera, a rising star on the Grime scene and Stephen Lansana, 22, were hoping to steal the victim's 'blingy' watch thinking it was valuable. Relatives of the defendants screamed and shouted in the public gallery and a woman collapsed after the pair were convicted of murder by the jury after 16 hours of deliberations. Two other defendants, IT engineer Terae Eusebe, 21, and Bruno Guimaraes, 23, were both cleared of the killing, but convicted on other charges.

EUSEBE:BUILDER MURDERED AS HE ATE ICE CREAM WITH HIS FATHER

CANNING TOWN, HENDON A Lithuanian builder was brutally stabbed to death in broad daylight while enjoying an ice cream in the sunshine with his father, the Old Bailey heard today (Fri). Zydrunas Laurinavicius, 38, was attacked with a 'fearsome' hunting knife by a gang of thieves during an impromptu street robbery, it is said. His father, 67, could only watch on in horror as his son collapsed and died in front of him, having been stabbed through chest and forearm during the ambush. Just moments earlier, Mr Laurinavicius had bought himself and his father ice creams before they went to catch the bus home.

KILBURN, NORTHWEST LONDON Three gangsters who shot dead an innocent nursery teacher with a Mac 10 submachine gun as she celebrated her 24th birthday were jailed for a total of 111 years today (fri). Hitmen Hassan Hussain, 29, and Yassin James, 20, sprayed bullets at mother-of-one Sabrina Moss and her friends as they sheltered from the rain in their party dresses outside a bar. Her friend Sabrina Gachette, also 24, was lucky to survive after being blasted in the back with a sawn off shotgun during the attack on the high street in South Kilburn, northwest London. The Moss family said Sabrina was 'irreplaceable' and that they could not express their grief.

The two women were only hit because they were standing next to the intended targets - members of the South Kilburn Gang.

JAMES: TEENAGER SUSPECTED OF SABRINA MOSS MURDER IS A 'LOW LIFE'

KILBURN; WEMBLEY A teenage drug dealer accused of shooting dead a nursery teacher at her birthday party is a 'low life' who hands out misery to others - according to his own barrister. Yassin James, 19, is accused of murdering mother-of-one Sabrina Moss, who died in a hail of bullets in Kilburn High Road, northwest London, as she celebrated her 24th birthday. Three of Miss Moss' pals were also shot and seriously injured in the attack on August 24 last year, said to have been carried out by James, Martell Warren, 22, and Hassan Hussain, 29. Addressing Old Bailey jurors today (weds), James' own lawyer James Scobie QC admitted the teen was a 'low life drug dealer' but said that does not make him a killer.

REMANI: BUSINESSMAN FACES JAIL FOR BANK SCAM BLING BINGE

CRICKLEWOOD A businessman who blew £72,000 of dirty money from a bank scam on jewellery and designer clothes is facing jail. Martino Remani, 58, spent thousands of pounds at the Apple store, a Louis Vuitton outlet, John Lewis, and a string of luxury jewellers in a three-day spending spree. The lavish purchases were funded by money siphoned from HSBC and Barclays Bank customers and into Remani's American Express account. He agreed for more than £132,000 to be paid to him while the banks were closed over the Easter weekend last year. Remani was convicted of converting criminal property after a one-day trial at the Old Bailey. He started his spree on March 29, spending £4,995 at jewellers Fraser Hart in Friern Barnet, north London, £4,730 in Goldsmith's jewellers in Brent Cross and another £4,950 in the Fraser Hart branch in Brent Cross.

CRICKLEWOOD A businessman bought jewellery and designer goods in a £72,000 spending spree with money siphoned from unsuspecting victim's bank accounts, the Old Bailey heard. Martino Remani, 58, spent thousands of pounds at the Apple store, a Louis Vuitton outlet, John Lewis, and a string of luxury jewellers in a three-day shopping binge. However, the lavish purchases were funded by money taken from HSBC and Barclays Bank customers and funnelled into Remani's American Express account, it is said. Remani is accused of agreeing for more than £132,000 to be paid to him while the banks were closed for the Easter weekend last year.
