LEMONIOUS: CHURCH 'SACKED IT WORKER BECAUSE OF HIS RACE'

UPPER NORWOOD, SOUTH LONDON A black IT worker claims he was sacked by the Church of England because of his race after he was blamed for a series of rude anonymous emails. Ladrick Lemonious, 54, was dismissed from his £37,000-a-year role for gross misconduct in February last year after a Church disciplinary identified him as the culprit behind the messages.

CLARKE: PALM PRINT RAPIST GETS 16 YEARS

UPPER NORWOOD A double rapist who was snared by a palm print 25 years after he attacked a man and a woman was jailed for 16 years today (weds). Robert Clarke, 43, was 16 when he burst through the front door of the south London property armed with a knife and an iron bar in August 1984.

UPPER NORWOOD An unemployed man accused of battering a woman to death at her home appeared at the Old Bailey today (WED). Stephen Foad, 41, is charged with the murder of 39 year-old Siobhan Kelly in Anerley, south London.

The girlfriend of a convicted murderer who broke the 'code of silence' governing gang culture on a 'lawless' housing estate when she identified her killer boyfriend has been spared jail Jessica Taylor, 22, told police all she knew about the night Ezra Mills, 22, was gunned down on the Central Hill estate in Gypsy Hill, southeast London.

CLARKE:ACCUSED DOUBLE RAPIST LINKED TO ATTACK 27 YEARS AGO BY PALM PRINT

UPPER NORWOOD, SOUTH LONDON. An accused double rapist who attacked a man and a woman after forcing his way into a flat was tracked down 25 years later by a palm print he left on the windowsill, a court heard today (Mon). Robert Clarke, 43, was 16 when he burst through the front door of the south London property armed with a knife and an iron bar in August 1984, it is claimed.

THORNTON HEATH, CROYDON, SURREY. A man accused of stabbing a teenager to death at sports arena riot has 'ducked out' of giving evidence to his murder trial, a court heard. Carleto Salmons, 28, is said to have grabbed a knife from a kitchen at a 16th birthday party to stab Wesley Sterling to death.

THORNTON HEATH, CROYDON, SOUTH LONDON. A 'yardieman' in a distinctive red hat was seen wielding a knife seconds before a teenager was stabbed to death at a 16th birthday party, a court heard. The Jamaican appeared to be crouching down next to the entrance to the dancefloor after a riot broke out at the Croydon Sports Arena.

The disco at Croydon Sports Arena, which was advertised on Facebook, ended in chaos after a gang tried to storm inside armed with knives and bottles.

The robbers wore disposable white paper suits and gas masks as they used sledge hammers to shatter reinforced glass in seconds and steal millions of pounds worth of designer watches and gems.

MITCHELL: TEEN ROBBERS CAUGHT RED HANDED BY POLICE

WORCESTER PARK, CROYDON, SURREY Four failed bank robbers who were foiled by chance by a passing police patrol have been jailed for between two and six years. The teenagers were spotted by a police sergeant, leaping over the bonnet of a car before trying to smash their way into a Surrey branch of Santander.
