YOUNG:YOUTHS INVOLVED IN WEST END NIGHTCLUB FRACAS WALK FREE

WALWORTH, SOUTH LONDON; ORPINGTON, KENT. Two youths who took part in a nightclub fracas in which their friend knifed two people have walked free from court. Daniel Awolesi, 22, and Anthony Young, 19, were both arrested after the double stabbing in Sound nightclub in Leicester Square on June 12 this year.

GAYNOR: BUS DRIVER'S LACK OF ATTENTION KILLED PEDESTRIAN

DURHAM; SOUTH NORWODD, SOUTH LONDON. A 'careless' bus driver who ran over and killed an England rugby fan was not paying proper attention to the road in front of him, a court heard today (mon). William Gaynor, 51, failed to see newly wed Noel Shearing, 32, as he crossed the road at Hyde Park Corner in the early hours of 8 November last year, jurors were told.

SUTTON, SURREY; WEST NORWOOD, SE LONDON. A suspected killer accused of shooting a man dead with a Mac 10 submachine gun told a court he was shocked to hear about the murder. Lemuel Robinson, 26, said he was in bed at home when a friend told him over the phone about the attack on 24 year-old Larry Malone.

MASON: WITNESS SAW 'DEATH GANG' TRY AND ROB MOTORUST

STREATHAM/UPPER NORWOOD A neighbour told today (Weds) how she watched as a dangerous gang tried to rob a motorist just hours before they allegedly gunned down an innocent man. Ezra Mills, 22, was shot dead with a pump-action shotgun as he tried to act a peacemaker when trouble flared between his friend and a gang member.

WEST NORWOOD, SOUTH LONDON A teenage waitress who was caught with a Mac10 submachine gun used in a murder told police she thought it was a bag of 'heavy books', a court heard today (Thurs). Shevonne Legister, 19, is accused of taking part in the plot to shoot dead 24 year-old Larry Malone at a flat in West Norwood, south London.

HONOUR KILLING COUSINS JAILED FOR LIFE

BIRMINGHAM, SMETHWICK, BIRMINGHAM Two cousins of honour killing victim Banaz Mahmod have been jailed for life for her murder after becoming the first suspects to be successfully extradited from Iraq. Mohammed Ali, 30, and Omar Hussain, 32, fled Britain before police could arrest them for the barbaric execution of the 20 year-old in January 2006.

MASON:THUGS SHOT MAN DEAD AFTER 'EXTRAORDINARY BOUT OF LAWLESSNESS'

GYPSY HILL, UPPER NORWOOD, TULSE HILL, SOUTHWEST LONDON. Six gang members 'intoxicated by guns and high on adrenalin' murdered a peacemaker after an 'extraordinary bout of lawlessness', the Old Bailey heard today (Weds). The killers gunned down Ezra Mills with a pump-action shotgun after trying to rob a man in his car and fired warning shots at a rival gang.

June Chandoo said daughter Shevonne Legister had always been against guns after her 15 year-old stepbrother was shot dead in Jamaica.

DAGENHAM/WEST NORWOOD Two friends accused of shooting a man dead with a Mac 10 submachine gun went to the victim's funeral a month later, a court heard. Lemuel Robinson, 26, and Andrew Cross, 27, both paid their respects to 24 year-old Larry Malone at the Gardens of Peace Muslim cemetery in Catford, southeast London.

WEST NORWOOD, SOUTH LONDON. A husband woke to discover his wife lying dead next to her after she had a fit in the night, an inquest heard. Francisco De Souza found his wife Norberta face down on the bed.
