The fallen woman- chef faked tumble for cash

A smash and grab gang behind a year-long £500,000 crime spree were caught when a machete-wielding robber was tackled by a have-a-go hero after a raid on a diamond store. Alex Parle, 22, Thomas O'Connor, 23, and Conor Gartland, 18, were part of a criminal organisation that targeted jewellers and money transfer shops in London and Manchester.

The Oreo Robber

The son of one of Colonel Gaddafi's cronies was locked up for a string of armed robberies - after he was caught out by a packet of Oreo biscuits. Asylum seeker Ahmid Dorda, 24, pretended to buy a packet of cookies and left them at the scene of one of his raids. Police matched the packet to his DNA and Dorda got seven and a half years.
