he was given a deadly vegetable curry cooked by girlfriend Lakhvir Kaur Singh, 44.
Singh laced the spicy dish with deadly Indian herb Aconite when he ended their secret 16 year-old affair. She had become insanely jealous after he arranged his wedding to 22-year-old illegal immigrant Gurjeet Choough for Valentine's Day last year. Singh was convicted of murder and as jailed for life.

| Killer Kardam Thaker Ramanlal was determined not to let his wife escape his reign of terror and stabbed her at the Peacocks department store where she worked in Mitcham, Surrey. CCTV shows him walking through the aisles, pushing her into a storeroom and then leaving with the knife in his hand. A colleague found her body minutes later. Her throat had been slashed.
